Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2023. This is a world-wide celebration of the work that charities do. All around the globe, people will be sharing information with you about their work, the impact that it has on people, animals, the environment, medicine, policies. Some of these may speak to you and others may not. We hope that because you have visited our site, you love and value the lives of animals; you care about their well-being, and understand that their fate is so much in our hands.
Small charities, especially like our farm sanctuary, are absolutely dependent on people who believe in what we do (rescue and care for animals in all stages of life), and who feel deep within themselves that donating to help is simply a Really Good Thing to do.
Here are FIVE WAYS you can help us on Giving Tuesday (although we are quite happy with other days, too):
(1) Sponsor an animal. It’s not too early to think about getting gifts for your loved ones and this is a sweet, thoughtful, and environmentally friendly way to let them know you understand their love for animals.
(2) Donate directly to us, or through our Facebook campaign.
(3) Donate through the Combined Federal Campaign.
(4) Send us something on our general Wishlist – something that we will put to immediate use!

(5) Are you on Facebook? Do you have lots of animal-loving friends? You can set up your own fundraising campai9n on our behalf. Here is how to do it:
Step 1: Go to your own page, and the right, find the 9 dot menu – you’ll have to scroll down to the bottom to find “Fundraiser”.
Step 2: You’ll see an input box to search: “Choose a nonprofit”. Start typing “Star Gazing Farm” and our organization will pop up for you to select.
Step 3: Select our nonprofit; you will then get a detailed page where you can customize the fundraiser. You can select:
- How long to run the fundraiser for (we recommend 5-7 days)
- A catching title
- A brief description of why you’d like to help us out (there is a default blurb written in case you just want to use that)
Step 4. Change out the banner. You can use their default banner, but we have created some very sweet ones that you can select from, below on this page. Just right click on your mouse and download the banner.
