Sponsor Now!
Imagine what your donation can do for one of our animals, all of whom have been rescued from a wide variety of situations – from wandering the streets, to being locked up in barns, to being whisked off the dinner table, to being left behind when their owner died. Here are some examples of how your tax-deductible sponsorship helps:
$25 (for a chicken, duck or goose) will buy them 2 weeks’ worth of grain and (oh, yummy) dried worms
$50 (for a kitty cat, bunny rabbit, or chinchilla) gives them fresh, clean bedding and litter for 3 weeks
$75 (for a pig, sheep or goat) can buy many sacks of groceries from which we make vegetable stew for the pigs; or 8 bales or orchard grass hay (which they will share, of course), or a new heat lamp to keep them warm over the winter.
$100 (for a dog, donkey, llama or alpaca) buys enough materials to make stew for the dogs to last a week (for all six dogs!!), or 5 bags of delicious textured camelid feed (with the molasses – they like that best), or a grooming kit and countless bags of carrots (her favorite) for the donkey.
$150 (for a horse or cow) covers almost 3 weeks (approximately 240 pounds) of hay. Yes, they eat a lot! It also buys more than a dozen replacement fence boards, since the cows just love to break those down!
Why sponsoring an animal will mean so much as a gift to your animal loving friends and family!
They will receive a gift package with a biography of “their” animal as well as a sponsorship certificate; they can also come to the farm and meet their animal in person. It’s pretty amazing to donate and then actually see and touch and interact with the creature you are helping – quite directly! [read more here]
Can I buy one for myself?
Of course! You will receive the same package and invitation to come and visit your animal.
Whom can I sponsor?
You can read the biographies of our animals here, or go directly to our online gift shop, which also has their bios and a photo.
