Henry and his friend Nicole were found wandering loose in Montgomery county and picked up by animal control. They were in pretty bad shape and very mistrustful of people. Happily we were able to work with animal control and found that these dogs were truly farm, working dogs. They are now happily wandering the farm and taking care of the sheep and alpacas.
Nicole is a happy-go-lucky kind of dog – until it’s time to get down to business. She takes her job as guardian of the animals very seriously and no fox dares come onto the property! She grows an incredibly thick coat (about 10″ long) and so is in need of regular brushing as well as a professional groomer’s shedding services.
