Bobby and Billy Bob were city dwellers, but were hanging out with the wrong crowd.  A smorgasbord of illegal drugs were involved, and so, eventually, were the police.  A kind person intervened on the roosters’ behalf and arranged to bring them quietly to our farm so they could escape jail time (shhhh).  They are very beautiful and melodious.  Bobby prefers to hang out in the front yard with Goldie Hen, whereas Billy Bob prefers the larger girls – pictured here with Angel the sheep.  He also seems quite fond of Louisa the Llama.

ShibShib (or Bob) was found abandoned in a filthy carrier in a public park.  An elderly couple came upon this little baby rabbit and could not leave him there with all the dogs running around and sniffing at him.  They brought him to Star Gazing Farm where we examined him and gave him a nice, clean indoors place to stay.   He was terribly shy and afraid at first, but has now come out of his shell and loves to run around and explore.  We will be having him neutered soon and will then be looking to place him in a loving home, preferably as a companion to another spayed bunny.

Cinnamon the guinea pig came to stay at our Bunny Motel back in the spring.  However, her owners were going through an upheaval in their lives, and asked if we would be willing to adopt her. “Cinnamon Girl” has become an immense favorite of the Saturday volunteers, and has also decided she enjoys late night TV while sitting on the sofa.
