Star Gazing Farm provides permanent sanctuary to animals in need.  We receive animals that have been seized by animal control, picked up as strays, animals whose owners are no longer able to care for them, or who need a place to live out their last years.

We are committed to providing our animals with the best possible care.  We thank the wonderful veterinarians who provide specialized help for animals who are often relegated to the “Food chain”.   We cannot take in everyone who needs a home and so we work closely with animal control agencies, humane societies, other sanctuaries, and small farms to help place the many animals in need. The farm receives dozens of requests per month to take in unwanted animals; to be fair both to our small property and to the animals already in our care, we try very hard to find alternative placements for these animals: chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, alpacas, cows, pigs, horses, turkeys and llamas.
